Familiar & comfortable. When we feel like eating out but yet are not quite motivated to check out an exciting/promising/well-talked-about new joint or the restaurant du jour, there are a few reliable old favourites we fall back on. Hearty food, nice space, consistent quality and approachable price-point.
Din Tai Fung is predictable, but checks the criteria and it’s Chinese food that’s been love at first taste.
It’s so comfortable that, I’m a little bit embarrassed to say, I’ve dined at Din Tai Fung in Shanghai & Taipei 
It’s almost like MacDonalds on a different level.
We particular like the Paragon branch
